New Leaner Jimmy Lewis Striker

The best thing with dealing with Jimmy Lewis is that he listens & is open to suggestions even though he knows more about board design than I & nearly anyone else ever will...
Firstly I asked for an 8'5 & 10' in the Striker range so what does he do... He says sure no problem, & we get 2 new versions in an already awesome all-round board...
Then when the 8'5 arrived & it had all the stability of the existing 8'11 only leaner & with more performance I asked if he'd thought about updating the existing 8'11 & 9'5 Strikers seeing as they had been around for approx 8 years.... Even though they were still the best selling board & just as relevant today as they were then Jimmy goes "sure, time for an update"..
So this week the New 8'11 & 9'5 Strikers have arrived & it looks like they have been on a diet & shed a litres...
The 8'11 x 30" Striker has gone from 130L down to 124L & the 9'5 has gone from 147L to 144L....
It might not seem like a lot but it certainly gives a beautifully profiled rail & rocker line without losing any stability....The beauty with the Striker is that you can surf it traditionally with the 2 + 1 fins that come with them or put thrusters or quads in them & they'll surf as good as any performance board...
